Disneyland Paris map and park plan
Why check the map before your visit
Disneyland Paris has two parks: Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park. Each has its own map and plan, with themed zones, attractions, restaurants and shops. Checking the map before you go helps you spot must-do attractions, estimate distances and plan a logical route so you do not waste time. On the day, paper maps are available at the entrance and the official Disneyland Paris app offers an interactive map and live wait times.
Disneyland Park plan
Disneyland Park is laid out around Sleeping Beauty Castle, visible from Main Street U.S.A. From the castle you reach the different lands:
- Main Street U.S.A.: main entrance, shops, restaurants, parades.
- Fantasyland: fairy-tale worlds (Peter Pan, Alice, It's a Small World, etc.).
- Adventureland: Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones, tropical theme.
- Frontierland: Big Thunder Mountain, Phantom Manor, Wild West theme.
- Discoveryland: Star Wars, Buzz Lightyear, Space Mountain, futuristic theme.
The park map also shows toilets, first aid, lockers and picnic areas. Spotting the busiest attractions (Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates, Space Mountain) helps you do them early in the morning or late in the day to cut waiting time.
Walt Disney Studios Park plan
Walt Disney Studios is more compact. The plan includes zones for film studios, animation and Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars worlds. You will find thrill rides (Avengers Assemble, Crush's Coaster, RC Racer) and shows. The map shows where attractions are relative to the entrances and helps you plan the order of rides based on wait times.
Book your ticket and pick up the park map at the entrance or in the app.
Book nowTips for using the map
Arriving at opening and starting with attractions furthest from the centre can cut queues. Use the map to find toilets and water fountains so you do not have to search with children. Parades often run along Main Street and around the castle: check the parade plan to pick a spot in advance. If you have a 1 day 2 parks ticket, the map shows where to switch between parks (pedestrian link between the two).
Summary: map and plan
The map and plan of Disneyland Paris are essential to find your way around Disneyland Park (Main Street, Fantasyland, Adventureland, Frontierland, Discoveryland) and Walt Disney Studios. Check them before your visit and on the day via the app or paper maps to make the most of your day.
Why check opening hours before you book
Disneyland Paris opening hours are not the same every day. They vary by season, day of the week and special events. On some days the parks close earlier; on others, shows or parades take place at set times. Checking the schedule before you buy your ticket helps you avoid bad surprises and choose a date that gives you a full day or an extended evening.
In addition, Disneyland Paris may apply exceptional closure days (maintenance, private events, or in rare cases extreme weather). It is therefore recommended to check the official calendar or up-to-date information on the park website before any booking.
Typical hours by season
In low season (winter, early spring, November), the parks often open around 10:00 and close between 18:00 and 20:00. In high season (summer, holidays, festive periods), hours are extended: opening can be as early as 09:30 or 10:00 and closing around 22:00 or 23:00, sometimes with evening shows and fireworks. Exact times are published on the official Disneyland Paris website and may change without notice; we recommend checking them again the day before your visit.
Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios can have slightly different hours (staggered opening or closing). If you have a 1 day 2 parks ticket, check the hours for both parks to make the most of your day. Our park map page helps you plan your route.
Closure days and exceptions
Planned closures are usually announced in advance on the park website. They may affect one park or both, and are often linked to maintenance work or events. Avoid buying a ticket for a date when the park is closed without having checked. In the event of an exceptional closure after purchase, change or refund conditions depend on the sales channel and its terms and conditions.
Some attractions inside the parks may also be under maintenance on certain dates. Opening times for individual attractions and shows are displayed in the park and on the official app.
Book your ticket for the date that suits you and check that day's hours.
Book nowParades and shows: variable times
Parades and shows (including castle fireworks) have times that change by season and day. In high season there may be several parades during the day and an evening show. Checking the day's programme on the website or in the Disneyland Paris app helps you miss nothing and plan your route accordingly. If you are visiting with children, combining the prices and hours can help you pick the best date and ticket type.
Tips for making the most of opening hours
Arriving at opening lets you enjoy the first hours with fewer people on popular attractions. Late in the day, many guests leave before closing: the last hour or two can be a good time to do several rides with shorter waits. If hours include an extended evening, plan to stay for the nighttime show and castle illuminations. Factor in travel time from your accommodation so you can be at the gates when the park opens.
